Whether you’re new to therapy or exploring your options, we’ve gathered the most common questions our patients ask. If you don’t see your question here, please feel free to contact us!
During your first visit, you’ll complete necessary paperwork and our front desk team will review your insurance and benefits. Then, one of our licensed therapists will perform a comprehensive evaluation to understand your unique needs and challenges. Together, you’ll establish goals and begin treatment that same day—helping you take the first step toward recovery.
💡 We offer evaluations in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy at all our South Florida locations.
Please note: patients are not guaranteed to see the same therapist for each appointment.
Please bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Insurance card(s)
- A list of current medications
- Your doctor’s prescription (if available)
To save time, you can download and complete the intake forms here before your visit. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early if you choose to fill out paperwork at the clinic.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and closed-toe sneakers. Your comfort and safety are our priority during each therapy session.
We treat a wide range of diagnoses, including:

All sessions are up to one hour long and always one-on-one with your assigned therapist. We focus on providing personalized attention in every visit—whether it’s physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
Yes! Florida Movement Therapy Centers accepts most insurance plans on an out-of-network basis, which means you may still be eligible for reimbursement depending on your benefits.
We are in-network with Medicare and Oscar Health.
For all other carriers—such as UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Humana, or others—we are considered out-of-network providers.
🧠 Tip: Many patients with out-of-network benefits receive partial or full reimbursement. Our team is happy to help you verify your insurance and guide you through your benefits.

Rock Steady Boxing is a non-contact boxing program designed for people living with Parkinson’s disease. Our certified therapists lead evidence-based classes that focus on strength, coordination, and balance to help improve quality of life.

We do our best to schedule evaluations within 24–72 hours. We have two convenient locations in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach, so you can get started as quickly as possible.
