Fight Back Against Parkinson’s — Rock Steady Boxing at FLMTC

What is Rock Steady Boxing?
Rock Steady Boxing is a unique, non-contact fitness program specifically designed to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease. Through a combination of boxing-inspired workouts and functional exercises, participants build strength, balance, coordination, and confidence — all in an encouraging and supportive environment.
Developed in 2006, Rock Steady Boxing is grounded in research that shows rigorous exercise can reduce and delay Parkinson’s symptoms. The program is adaptable to all fitness levels and abilities, ensuring that everyone — whether newly diagnosed or years into their journey — can benefit.
At Florida Movement Therapy Centers, our certified Rock Steady Boxing coaches guide participants through tailored workouts that not only challenge the body but also stimulate the mind, helping to improve motor control and everyday function. You don’t need boxing experience to join — just a desire to fight back against Parkinson’s and reclaim your strength.
