GROUP CLASSES

At FLMTC we offer classes at all locations to complement the client’s physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy programs and are run by a licensed therapist. These classes include Boxing, Let’s Talk! Speech Wellness, Movement Class, Tai Chi & Boot Camp.

WHO CAN
DO IT?

Anyone can sign up for all of our offered class programs. Every class is designed to incorporate exercises that are safe for every kind of patient. 

WHEN SHOULD
YOU DO THEM?

We recommend you do the classes on the days you do not have a therapy session so you can receive the full benefit of the workout.

CLASS SCHEDULES

BOXING CLASS

This class is an intense non-contact boxing class to improve balance, coordination and daily function.

MOVEMENT CLASS

This class is designed for patients at varied functional levels. The focus of this class is to challenge dynamic sitting and standing exercises in order to maintain gains.

FUSION CLASS

This class is an intense mixture of non-contact Boxing Class and Movement Class  to improve balance, coordination and daily function.

BOOT CAMP

This class incorporates high impact exercise circuit intended to improve strength and cardiovascular fitness. Get ready to work up a sweat!

Requirement: Approval to participate in this class is required.

LET'S TALK!
SPEECH WELLNESS

This class focuses on speech, swallowing and voice exercises, as well as cognitive tasks in a small group setting. Patients participate in activities and discussions about topics related to their everyday life.

TAI CHI CLASS

This class is a mixture of activities such as visualization, meditation, body mechanics and hands on physical correction/manipulation, in repetitive exercises
